It was raining when I woke up this morning. It is one of those days in Seattle: a rainy day. I looked at my phone to see how the weather will be this week. I was not that surprised to see that it will rain the whole week. Seattle averages 158 days of measurable rain and 226 days of some cloud cover every day. That is lots of rainy days.
The rain inspired me to make this raindrop crystal necklace today. I also looked up on Etsy to see rain inspired arts and found this beautiful art print by enduringarts. I picked this inspirational art print for the Best of the week Etsy finds by A Cup of Sparkle. I absolutely loved the quote and the text font&blue colors.
Does the rain inspire you? Make you happy?

The necklace is fabulous!! Sorry about the rain.. bummer. Rainboots? Always seem to brighten those rainy days. For me anyway! My husband has a lot of family in Seattle. Never been, but I'd really like to visit sometime!

That Girl in Pearls
I really enjoyed designing and making this necklace, but; I should confess that I don't like rain. I am more of a sunny days girl. Being in Seattle, rain sucks. I would love to stay home in rainy day; but, that would be almost every day of the year:)
ReplyDeleteRainboots is SUPER idea. I have one with colorful flowers and that totally helps. I also have colorful rain coats, which I would recommend.
Kim, I am glad you and your garden is enjoying the rain. Flowers never gets bored of rain. I think all plants should leave in Seattle :) I envy them. I wish I was a plant in Seattle :))))
Thanks all for your nice comments about my necklace. I REALLY REALLY appreciate all your feedback. It keeps me motivated to make new things...
